You teach and nurture your children in faith. Fortunate indeed is the woman who is married to a good man, who is loved by him, and who in turn loves him; a man who loves his children, provides for them, teaches them, guides them, rears and protects them as they walk the stormy course from babyhood to adulthood. Is it cold?
I am freezing! I can't believe it! One year ago I was making fun of people (yes, truly making fun of people) for thinking that low 70's high 60's was cold. Well, right now it is 67 degrees and I am freezing cold! I am going to get a big blanket and a cup of hot chocolate as soon as I am done with this post. I did not drink one cup of hot chocolate last year because it was not cold enough. So, I have come to the sad conclusion that I have acclimatized to the El Centro weather. I can't believe it! I feel like a huge wimp and I know in my mind that it is not cold, but my body is FREEZING!!!! Hot chocolate, here I come!

before you know it, you're going to love it there and won't be able to imagine yourself living any place else. :)
Yea, that is not going to happen! :) I am looking for the positives right now, but I will NEVER want to stay here forever! lol I don't know anyone that is a transplant here that doesn't feel any differently than I do. That tells you something!
My weather channel desktop is telling me that it is 44 degrees in my front yard. It's a beautiful sunny day. I'm thinking a bike ride! Hey, what can I say, I've been living in Utah and Colorado.
Julie, brrrrr......I haven't felt that weather for 2 years, and I am so not ready for that kind of cold if 67 is freezing me out! lol I guess I will be in big touble when we move back up north!
It was 30 degrees when I left to go home last night. I didn't even have a coat on. We had snow this last weekend.
I am SO a warm weather girl, and SOOO jealous of you right now! It also doesn't help when your hubby likes to sleep with the windows open when it's 40 degrees outside (maybe I should come for a visit!)
I know exactly what you mean. Our first "cold" day here, I sent my kids to school in shorts and a t-shirt, because it was 75 degrees outside. There were people in down puffy jackets and scarves. This year, I've been wishing that I had a down puffy jacket here! And I never wore a coat during the winter in Utah. It is getting hot, though (finally).
Just remember, Change is GOOD...!
