You teach and nurture your children in faith. Fortunate indeed is the woman who is married to a good man, who is loved by him, and who in turn loves him; a man who loves his children, provides for them, teaches them, guides them, rears and protects them as they walk the stormy course from babyhood to adulthood. Bittersweet
Today I took Kylee to her first day of gymnastics summer camp. They are having classes each morning for 3 1/2 hours throughout the summer. We will only be able to attend 4 of them, seeing as how we are heading up to Utah on Friday, but she was thrilled with what she could get. We did not sign up Parker because starting tomorrow he has cub scout day camp. So, this morning I was trying to get them all ready and I could not get Ireland to get moving. She didn't get breakfast before we left, but that was no big deal seeing as how we were coming straight home. We got there and one of the coaches thought that all of my kids were attending. This made Parker ask if he could go just for the day. I looked down and his pleading face and quickly gave in. The twins then started begging......you guessed it. They all stayed. I was slightly concerned about Ireland not have had breakfast. That was needless seeing as how they had food there for the kids. As I left them, all four of my kids, I was sad! I couldn't believe that my two little 'babies' are now old enough to do 'big kid' things! They are my last and I am not really ready for them to be big kids. I felt this same thing at Disneyland when they wanted to ride on the rides with their brother and sister and not mom and dad. I wanted to turn around and go back and get them. Instead I went home and exercised with the knowledge that there would be no kids trying (and succeeding) to get as much food as they could without mom knowing and stopping them. I then went over to the pool to lay out (sorry mom and grams...no lectures please) and didn't have to worry about watching kids to make sure that no one was drowning. It was so nice and relaxing! I have three more days this week of this type of activity! YAHOO!!!! I have to say that I am still feeling tender about it, but I am also really looking forward to kindergarten in the fall! Three hours everyday (when I am not volunteering) that will be just mine! Read, clean, sleep, do whatever I want! See? Bittersweet!

ok, I wont lecture you this time, just remember how hard Jayci's chemo was (smiley face)
What a great milestone! I think it's only fair that you get a little time to yourself now. Did they all have a good time at gymnastics camp? Not much longer until we see you...!
Grams, just so you know, that was a lecture! lol By the way, how are your legs coming along? hehe
Katie, it is nice to have the time. They love it. They are going all week.
Oh that is so true! First they are babies and next thing you know they are all grown up and being big kids! I totally understand, it is hard to watch them grow up so fast, next thing you know dating.....hehehehe
I wish I could've kept Joe at 4, forever!! But, at the same time, when they are all in school, it's nice to have 6 hours for me to get things done or just play Rock Band! :)
Hiroko, I might just have to go out and get Rock Band.....or the Wii (is that the one?) to play it! lol
