You teach and nurture your children in faith. Fortunate indeed is the woman who is married to a good man, who is loved by him, and who in turn loves him; a man who loves his children, provides for them, teaches them, guides them, rears and protects them as they walk the stormy course from babyhood to adulthood. I.V. 2nd Ward
Almost three years ago we moved to the Imperial Valley. I was a very reluctant addition to this area. The 120 degree temperatures make it hard to want to be here! lol I finally settled in and love the people in my ward (church group). There are many people who have blessed mine and my family's life. We have made the decision to move in to a home. This home is outside of our ward's boundaries. I am very sad about this. I am excited to be in a home with much more space, but I am really going to miss these people. I was talking to a friend on the phone today and I told her how much I would miss her. The thing is that I usually only see her on Sunday. When James is not there I make my Sunday school comments to her and we usually sit behind her for another one of our meetings. I love the chance that I have to chat with her and I will miss that so much. It is a wonderful group of people. I know that the other ward is full of nice people as well, but I truly feel loved and at home in the 2nd ward and I will miss them so much.

Post pics of the new house....120* I would melt into a big lazy puddle!!! Hahahaha
I will. When we get back I will take some with our stuff in it. Poor James, he has to move it all while I am gone. Not sure if I am feeling guilty or gleeful! lol
the heat is TERRIBLE! The day we got there it was over 120* and 70% humidity. I stepped out of the air conditioned car and my glasses fogged up. I looked at James and said 'I want to go home. Now!'. I pretty much get that feeling each year. The sad thing is that at the end of summer 105-110 starts to feel cool and refreshing....seriously. :( lol
My son is working as a boy scout counselor at Camp Bartlett in Idaho.
How fun! I hope he has a good time! :)
NO! You're leaving us? I'm going to miss your girls in primary so much! You're just going to 1st ward right? Well, being someone who moved over from 1st, I felt the same about moving into 2nd but they really are both great. I look at it as broadening your circle of friends. I'm glad you'll be in a house now instead of an apartment. Where is the house? I look forward to seeing pictures.
Michelle, the girls will miss being in your class. They love you! ;) We are moving in just North of the B.P. station off of Aten Rd. It is Fonzie Ave. (stupid name for a street, lol) I am really excited to be in a house and also not to have to deal with our crazy apt managers! lol I will miss seeing you as often as I do, but at least in the 1st ward we are still in the same building and I will see you around! :)
