Worries

Do you ever look around and wonder who is really happy and who is hiding sadness or pain? I have often wondered that. We can look at someone and think that they look like their life is wonderful but reality might be the extreme opposite of wonderful. It is so hard, impossible really, to truly know how someone is feeling or what their life is like.

I have had times when all I want to do is cry or curl up in a ball, but don't really have that option. There have been several times in the past week where I have just wanted to cry but because I am helping to coach little squirts I have had to be happy as a clam. Who knew I could be such a good actress. I did notice that when I was focusing on the girls I wasn't focusing on my own worries and problems. I suppose there is something to learn from that. Maybe when we are feeling down we should try to focus on serving others and see if that helps us with our own problems. It may not take them away, but might help us to have a better attitude when dealing with it. Just a thought.

You could pretty much bet that you are not getting the full story, but who really wants to know the full story? I choose to keep things light and write about stuff that helps me remember the happy or silly times. Occasionally I'll blog about something that I'm really struggling with if I want ideas as to how to handle things or if I just need to vent.

Anyway, I think what I'm trying to say is that we should never judge others because we really don't know EVERYTHING.

You are right about the service thing. At least when we are thinking of others and trying to help out with whatever talents we possess, we are happier.

I'm sorry that you've had a rough week. I really hope that you'll feel better soon.

did we have the same week?? wow you are so spot on. I'm sorry you are having a hard time. I agree about the service too. I've tried to do more with my calling and everything else so that I can not dwell on all the hardships. I heard a great quote yesterday:

'worrying doesn't take the trouble out of tomorrow. It takes the strength out of today'...if you're like me I need all the strength I can get..here's hoping to better days!

Jules, you are right, we don't ever know everything and I agree about the judging. I have learned so much in the last 10 years or so not to judge because we just never know. Ya know? lol Thanks for the kind words. :)

Lisa, I am so sorry you have been having a hard week. I hope it is getting better. I like your quote a lot.

Grams, I love you so much! :) Don't worry about me. I was just having a couple of hard days. Can't wait to see you in June! I am so looking forward to it! Get your ear ready for lots of chats! Miss you. Give gramps a kiss for me. (and one to you too)

Hiroko, thanks so much. :) I would love to see you when I come in to town. I would bet everything I own that I will be there before you are down here (at least where I live). In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if you NEVER made it down to where I live! lol
