You teach and nurture your children in faith. Fortunate indeed is the woman who is married to a good man, who is loved by him, and who in turn loves him; a man who loves his children, provides for them, teaches them, guides them, rears and protects them as they walk the stormy course from babyhood to adulthood. Fishing!
James had Monday and Tuesday off this week, so we decided to take the kids fishing. I really did not want to go, but I went for the family. I am so glad that I went! Parker and Kylee received fishing poles from their grandma and grandpa for Christmas, so we had three poles. James got Parker all baited up and Parker cast out and bam! he caught a bass! Everyone was so excited! James got Parker and Kylee all ready and cast out and went to get his pole ready. Before he could do that both Parker and Kylee and caught a fish! This was how it went all night! Poor James did not get to do much fishing. I got some fishing in and ended up catching 4 fish! Yes, 4 fish! Unfortunately I was only able to keep one of them. The other three were too small. Kylee caught 4 blue gills, Parker caught 4 bass and had to throw one back. Poor James only caught one and it had to go back. Now, I like fishing the way that I fished. James baited my rod and then when I reeled the fish in he would take it off the hook (I don't touch fish or bait!) for me. What a great man! lol Kylee loved to fish, but the moment she caught one she got scared and wanted me to reel it in. I am not sure what she was afraid of because once is was out and swimming in the cooler she loved to touch it. That is one strange chick! Parker loved everything, so much so that he kept trying to do everyone's stuff! The twins just like running around and screaming when a fish was caught. It ended up being so much fun and then today James cooked the fish and made some french fries. The kids truly liked eating the fruits of their labors. Go fishing!
