The kids and James watched 'The Penguins of Madagascar'. I came walking in to the room right afterwards and she and I had a conversation that went like this.
Ireland: That penguin is a wiener.
Me: (thinking I must have heard wrong) What?
Ireland: That penguin is a wiener.
Me: What?!
Ireland: That penguin is a wiener!
Me: What?!
Kylee: The penguin is called Private, that is why she thinks that.
Me. laughter.....laughter.....laughter.....
After a few minutes James and I were able to calm down and then explain to Ireland (and the rest of the kids) the difference between body 'privates' and the rank of 'private' in the military!
