This, my friends, is my mean, hateful treadmill! How I love to hate it! It causes pain, sweat, sometimes tears, frustration, boredom....the list could go on and I think you get the
gist of it. It sits in my bedroom mocking me if I don't use it at least 5 days a week. It gets James' work stuff piled on it everyday, and it still is able to yell at me from under the rubble. It says 'Get on here you lazy lout and get running/walking!'. Sometimes I listen, sometimes I don't. I know it is good for me, and I do much better on this than out on the road. I can not run on the road, but the treadmill makes me keep going. I know it is good for my heart. When the paramedics were taking my blood pressure on the way to the hospital for my back they said that it was good because of my using the treadmill. I also know that it helps me to keep my weight in check. However, knowing all of the good things about the treadmill does not change my feelings towards or opinion of it. I HATE IT!!!!! That will never change!

Sometimes, you just have to pretend you like it, until one day, you actually don't mind it, and then it becomes enjoyable, then you like it for 3 weeks, and then you hate it again. Vicious cycle. Just fake it til you make it girl! P.S. Who says you actually have to RUN on it? Walking is good too!
Katie, I have tried for years to like it....it is not happening! I just do it and hate it! lol I like (loosely used word) because I burn more calories! haha I do walk though.....back and forth between the two
Get outside and walk/run. You get fresh air and you get to leave your kids when you go.
I hate the treadmill to...and running for that matter. I have never run outside and my friend is forcing me to try it this summer. Outside. It scares me.
I can't run outside. I have tried. I don't know what it is, but I just can't do it. :(
Josh, I have to have someone to leave my kids with to escape! lol
Hiroko, good luck! You can do it!
You don't need to, just lock them in their rooms. How do you know it is me?
josh, everyone knows it's you...because you're a dork. :)
Temaire, don't run outside...VERY VERY bad for your knees.
Josh, I can tell by what you write. Plus, you are the only one that post as anon and doesn't sign their name.
Scott, no way in this world am I running outside. Knees or not! lol
I'm with Katie, I do more faking than making, however. Every day I tell myself that I love running. When people ask me if I like to run, I always say, "Yes, I love running." Yeah, right. I love it when I'm done. I'm for outside running, because I get really bored on the treadmill. I love to be outside watching the world while I run. It's always interesting.
If you are worried about your knees, you should go biking. It is fun, you go farther, and just as good for you.
Dwight S.
Chan, I get bored on the treadmill too. I can walk forever on the road, but I can't seem to make myself run. Doesn't work.
Josh, I don't have a bike. Want to buy me one? :D
Temaire, the chick that lived in the house before us left a bike at our house. It's still there. If you want it, I'll save it for you and you can haul it home this summer. It's purple. :D It looks like a pretty nice bike...could be yours...for free...
I'm all for the gym because than you never get bored with all of the characters. I should say our gym is the Y which is why there are so many interesting people
Temaire, I am with Emma on this one. I love my gym (24 hour fitness) because they have TVs attached to the treadmills. It makes and hour go by quickly and it is easier for me to ignore the pain!
